Parker was rescued from a terrible neglect situation where he had been abandoned in a paddock for years. Parker was malnourished, depressed and in poor health on arrival at the sanctuary – he had just months to live.
Immediately, we began rehabilitation through veterinary care, nutritious food and round-the-clock attention. He slowly gained the strength he needed to survive and, despite his harrowing past, he is now thriving with no signs of ill-health. Parker has settled perfectly well into sanctuary life, roaming and grazing to his heart’s content. Parker is a kind and gentle soul and one of the visitors’ favourites at Where Pigs Fly Farm Sanctuary.
