Rescue date: July 2020
Alice belonged to a small farm for many years. Sadly, she developed mastitis in her udder which was ignored and left untreated for many months. Over this time the infection became so severe she was close to developing irreversible sepsis. After suffering immeasurable pain from the raging infection, Alice was surrended to the sanctuary by the owners. Alice’s mastitis was urgently operated on and she is recovering well. Alice is quickly adjusting to sanctuary life and enjoys roaming the paddocks pain-free, truly loved for the first time. Alice is someone, not something.
