Marigold arrived at Where Pigs Fly Farm Sanctuary after being seized by an animal protection agency as a neglect case. She was severely emaciated, her coat matted and her hooves so neglected they had grown to slipper hooves (severely overgrown resembling aladdin shoes). This little one also had an untreated health condition called Cushing’s Disease. She is now on daily medication for life to manage this condition. Marigold is such a sweetheart and, despite the cruelty she endured in her past, just loves humans. She is only pocket size but very bossy and rules the horse paddock.

Rescued May 2018
